At Splendora Assembly of God Church, we value authentic relationships. We want to be
people who enjoy life together as we live out the mission of God. Therefore, we try to provide multiple ways for our members to get connected. You will find that fellowship events, as well as our ministries (we call them Life Groups) are a major part of culture. There are also many opportunities to serve in church with other people.
WHAT To Expect?
When you arrive you will be greeted by our Member's Care Team, and will be given a visitor connect card to complete so that we can keep in touch with you and your family. Our worship services begin with a spirit-led worship experience through song that is followed by a powerful preached word. We allow the holy spirit to direct us from beginning to end.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Your child will experience engaging, age-appropriate teaching, worship and activites, all developed to point your child toward a daily relationship with Christ. Find out more about our children and youth Life Groups here.
HOW CAN I MEET NEW PEOPLE?
There are lots of ways to meet new people here at our church. You can join a Life Group or check out our events for opportunities to get involved. You could also come early on Sunday and Wednesdays and enjoy free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or refreshing beverages as you meet new people.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We encourage people to come as they are and to be comfortable in a modest way. God is more concerned with our heart and soul than our outward appearance. Our members dress both formal and casual.
WHAT DENOMINATION ARE YOU?
Splendora Assembly of God Church is made up of people from various backgrounds and cultures. We are a part of the U.S. Assemblies of God in which we place an emphasis on "Four Core Beliefs": Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ.
